Stockholm Nationalmuseum Wedding
Stockholm
Ellen and Philip wanted a wedding that felt like them. They both love art, so choosing the National Museum in Stockholm for their ceremony was never really a question. Standing in front of the famous Carl Larsson painting above the grand staircase, surrounded by centuries of art and the people closest to them, it just made sense.
After the ceremony, everyone walked to a small bistro nearby that Ellen and Philip had been going to for years. They rented the entire place and let their guests order their own favorites from the menu. The mingling spilled out onto the street, and at one point I noticed curious neighbors leaning out of their windows to see what was happening in their quiet corner of Stockholm. That kind of moment is impossible to plan, and it is exactly what made the evening feel so alive.
This is what I love about intimate weddings in Stockholm. When a couple builds their day around the places that actually mean something to them, everything feels natural. The photos tell a real story, not a styled one. The National Museum gave us grand architecture and soft light, and the bistro gave us warmth and laughter. Together they made a wedding that could only belong to Ellen and Philip.
If you are looking for a wedding photographer in Stockholm who cares about your story as much as the light, I would love to hear from you. I photograph intimate weddings and elopements across Stockholm, Scandinavia, and Europe.
