Karin
Lundin Forsgård

Karin Lundin is a wedding photographer based in Stockholm, blending documentary storytelling with an editorial sensibility. With a background in both sociology and commercial photography, her work exists at the intersection of observation and artistry—where wedding imagery becomes more than memories; it becomes a timeless archive.

She holds a degree in Sociological Social Analysis from Stockholm University and a diploma in Advertising & Magazine Photography from Gamleby School of Photography. Her eye for light and composition was shaped through an internship with renowned fashion photographer Carl Bengtsson and her work as a retoucher and studio manager for Wolfgang Kleinschmidt. Early experience as a press photographer further refined her instinct for capturing fleeting, unscripted moments.

Her dedication to visual storytelling has earned her industry recognition, including Europe’s Best Wedding Photographer (WUN, 2020), Rising Star (Rangefinder, 2021), and Top 5 Wedding Photographers in Sweden (Wezoree, 2024). She is also a preferred vendor for all major wedding planners in Sweden and has been a featured speaker at Way Up North, one of the leading wedding photography conferences in Europe.

Working closely with videographers, she offers a seamless visual experience for couples who value both movement and stillness in their wedding memories.
Her approach is rooted in authenticity, elegance, and a deep appreciation for understated beauty. She works with couples who seek images that feel effortless yet intentional—photographs that don’t just show how it looked, but how it felt.

Beyond photography, Karin’s life is anchored in family. She and her husband share a home in Stockholm with their two children, including their youngest son, Love, who was born with Down syndrome. His unique journey has given her a deeper perspective on patience, presence, and the beauty of life’s quieter moments. When she’s not behind the camera, she can often be found exploring nature with her family, searching for hidden treasures in the form of wildflowers, insects, or the perfect evening light by the water.
